Dr. Clarissa Anderson - What is the Algae Bloom?

Hundreds of sea lions and dolphins along the California coast are sick and dying due to what scientists believe are high concentrations of a toxic algae bloom. 

Dr. Clarissa Anderson, Executive Director of the Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography discusses what the algae bloom is, how it is affecting the ocean ecosystem, and what is happening because of it.
