Fall and Thanksgiving Cheer
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we at The Resource want to welcome you to the season of falling leaves and gratitude! We are grateful for YOU, our community, this Thanksgiving and always!
Granada Legends
The Resource was honored to present The Granada Theatre’s 2022 Legends Award to State Street Ballet for their beautiful artistry in motion.
The Granada Theatre hosted its 6th annual Legends Gala, an elegant black tie affair honoring local legends who, through lifetime achievement, have illuminated and advanced the performing arts in a significant way. The distinguished honorees included philanthropists Palmer and Joan Jackson presented by Art Merovick, artistic virtuoso Allen Side presented by Christopher Lloyd, and performing arts organization State Street Ballet presented by Teri Jory. Guiding us through the star studded evening was Master of Ceremonies Andrew Firestone, and Chair of the Granada Board Palmer Jackson.

SideBar:
A New Conlaw Podcast
In an increasingly polarized political climate, educating ourselves on constitutional law and its implications in our community is more important than ever. Dean Jackie Gardina of The Colleges of Law and Dean Mitch Winick of Monterey College of Law are hosting a new podcast called SideBar to extend conversations about constitutional law beyond the classroom.

Welcome to the Team, Annie!
The Resource is delighted to welcome our new Digital Marketing Coordinator, Annie!
After moving in 2021 to dance with State Street Ballet, Annie quickly fell in love with the beautiful city of Santa Barbara. She grew up in the small town of Whitefish, Montana and was deeply involved in the community. Annie was eager to connect with individuals in Santa Barbara who were passionate about creativity and effecting positive change. Much of her work includes fundraising, researching and creating and promoting digital media for local community leaders. Now living in Portland, Annie is looking to continue her career as a dancer and hone her skills in digital media and can’t wait to further connect with people within the Resource and beyond.
You may have seen some of her work on our socials and website already—head over to our pages to check it out. Happy to have you on the team, Annie!
