Marian Shapiro - Sex Education

Marian was not permitted to teach sexual education in schools, so began teaching sexual education for both parents and their young children at local churches that were supportive of her directive.

Marian also taught Human Sexuality courses at Fort Hays State University and Wichita State University. After 31 years in Hays, Marian and her family returned to California where she taught The Psychology of Human Sexuality at Santa Barbara City College for 11 years.
