Marian Shapiro - Moving to Kansas

After she was married, Marian’s husband’s job took them to Hays, Kansas where Marian was inspired to advocate and educate about sexual health and wellness. Marian helped start a Planned Parenthood clinic in Hays in 1976 where she worked for 20 years and eventually became Director of Education for Planned Parenthood of Kansas.
