As the Fourth of July grows closer so do the crowds that come with it. Cases are still on the rise so remember to be COVID cautious this Independence Day Weekend!

COVID-19 cases are still rising with 1,033 active cases currently, up 35% from the two week average, according the the Community Data Dashboard. There are 88 “new” cases and 28 people are currently hospitalized.

Test positivity is currently at 13.7% with 29.39 testing positive per 100,000 people.

Vaccinations in the County

Of all eligible residents, 69.3% have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 AND 76.5% have received at least one dose.

Providers have now administered 842,254 doses and 170,472 have been booster doses.

As of last week, children under five are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

UPDATE:

After Friday July 1st, the Community Data Dashboard will transition to a new format utilizing data from the California Department of Public Health.
