Elivia Salazar is an outstanding community member and educator, championing comprehensive sex education within the community as a PPCCC Promotorx Community Health Educator.

Over seven years, Elivia has led many outreach events, broken down barriers, reduced stigma, and has fostered a supportive environment for those seeing information about sexual health.

Elivia’s dedication to the Latinx community in particular has empowered individuals to make more informed decisions about their sexual health. Planned Parenthood is especially proud of her work and ability to approach these subjects with the utmost sensitivity, respect and empathy.
