The Resource Person of the Year:
Elsa Granados of STESA
The Resource awards Elsa Granados for her dedication and passion towards making this a better and more peaceful world!
It is with great pride that The Resource awards The Person of the Year to Elsa Granados, STESA Executive Director for 26 years. The Resource acknowledges the thousands of survivors that Elsa has empowered in sexual and domestic violence for 38 years. STESA—Standing Together To End Sexual Assault (formerly Rape Crisis Center)—has helped survivors from all walks of life in our community since its creation (in 1974) almost 50 years ago through the Empowerment Model. Elsa and her team now have the opportunity to empower sexual assault survivors worldwide by helping the Government in Spain establish 53 Rape Crisis Centers modeled after STESA.
