https://publichealthsbc.org/covid-19-vaccine-appointment-registration/.

For assistance with appointment registration, those eligible can reach out to the County Call Center, beginning March 1, by calling 2-1-1 and selecting option #4. This line is available 7 days a week between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

We are very excited to offer a first dose vaccine to thousands more of our community members. This is a significant step in the right direction towards ending this pandemic.
— Dr. Van Do-Reynoso, Director for the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department

Special outreach for separate clinics for Educators, Childcare, and the Agricultural/Food Industry are also taking place for clinics next week.

Additionally, we are seeing Santa Barbara County’s COVID-19 hospitalizations at an all-time low since mid-December as well as a decline in all 3 Covid-19 tier-assignment metrics.

As Santa Barbara recovers from its winter surge of cases, the county saw a record low of hospitalizations this past Saturday (Feb. 27th). There were 74 Covid-19 patients in local hospitals; the last time it was that low was 73 on Dec. 13, according to the county Public Health Department. The adjusted case rate, testing positivity rate, and health equity testing positivity rate all declined in the latest COVID-19 tier report.
