Santa Barbara is in the midst of a hotly contested mayoral election. With many voters still holding onto their ballots, we thought it would be fun and informative to chat with former mayor, Marty Blum. Marty was first elected to the mayor’s office in 2001 and re-elected in 2005. She served until 2010.
We talk about what life is like as a mayor as well as what she learned and how she grew in the position. What are her thoughts on what it takes to be mayor? Listen to find out.
